ITINERARY 04N| 05D Kenya safari -Thorn Tree Safari

DAY 01: TUESDAY

NAIROBI – ABERDARES
Met on arrival and transfer to the Eka Hotel where refreshments will be served and a safari briefing conducted. Thereafter, drive north
through rich farming areas to Aberdare Country Club arriving in time for lunch at the club (180 kms, 180km, approximately 3hrs drive).
After lunch transfer to Ark Lodge. Spend the afternoon at leisure enjoying excellent views of animals visiting the waterhole from the
observation platforms of the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ark Lodge or similar (Meals included: Lunch and Dinner).

DAY 02: WEDNESDAY

ABERDARES – LAKE NAKURU
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge followed by transfer to the Aberdare Country Club to collect left luggage. Thereafter, drive into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at Aberdare Country Club (180 kms, approximately 3hrs drive). Enjoy an
afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar (Meals included: Breakfast,
Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 03: THURSDAY

LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA
After an early breakfast drive to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Keekorok Lodge (315 kms,
approximately 6hrs drive). Enjoy a late afternoon game-drive in one of the world’s finest game reserves. Dinner and overnight at the
Keekorok Lodge or similar (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 04: FRIDAY

MAASAI MARA
An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or take an early morning game-drive
followed by breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the morning at leisure at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner
and overnight at the Keekorok Lodge or similar (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 05: SATURDAY

MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI
Return to Nairobi by road (280 km – approximately 5 hours drive), or fly from the Mara to Nairobi: morning flight (prices on request).
Refreshments will be served at the Eka Hotel before final transfer to the airport for your outbound international flight or proceed with
own chosen extension (Meals included: Breakfast)

New Maasai Mara Park Regulations:

Road safaris
1 – All departures by road should exit the National Reserve no later than 10am. Any departure after 1000hrs will attract an extra day’s park fees.
Flying safaris
1 – Guest residing in lodges & camps both inside and outside the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and departing by air should arrive at the Mara airstrip
not later than 100hrs for morning flights. Afternoon flights departing past 1200hrs will automatically attract extra day park fees.

1. The above rates are as per the itineraries given above and are as per the meal plans indicated and include:
 Cost of accommodation on meal plans indicated
 Cost of all transfers and game-drives conducted in 4×4 Land Cruiser
 Cost of all park entrance fees
 Services of professional English driver/guide
 A maximum of 4 singles per group will be charged a single room rate. Any additional singles will be charged at double room
rate.

Cancellation Policy:

Before 61 days of arrival – No cancellation fee
Between 60 and 50 days of arrival – 15% cancellation fee
Between 49 and 30 days of arrival – 33% cancellation fee
Between 29 and 0 days of arrival – 100% cancellation fee
